President Donald Trump said Monday his administration is pursuing the “leaker” who revealed to the media that a pilot was missing in Iran, threatening to “jail” the reporter who broke the story if they don’t reveal their source.
Trump made the threat during a press conference on the rescue mission, where he repeated his promise to aggressively attack Iran’s critical infrastructure if an agreement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz is not reached by Tuesday night.
“The entire country could be taken out in one night, and that night might be tomorrow night,” Trump said, referring to the 8 p.m. ET Tuesday deadline.
