In the plethora of unique people with extraordinary zest for greatness, Cohesive magazine found one whom we want to bring to the public gaze, to witness ambition, style, and elegance personified.
Can we get to know you?
My name is Nikki, I go by “Iconikki” pronounced as “icon-nikki.” I’m currently a college student in Atlanta, Georgia. Ethnically I am Nigerian, as both of my parents are from Nigeria, but I was born in California.
How did this journey start? And were there any childhood inclinations to your stylistic expressions?
I started my fashion content creation journey right as I graduated high school which was mid-2022. I was already posting on Pinterest but once I began posting Reels on Instagram, that’s when I started the ongoing content creation journey.
In my childhood, however, I had been into fashion since I was in kindergarten. I believe it stemmed from playing with barbies and playing fashion games. Throughout the years, until I could afford to shop for myself, I would style and play dress up through games such as Episode, MovieStarPlanet and many more.
What factors aided this career path?
I would say my lifelong love for fashion and dress up. This hobby I enjoyed expressing throughout growing up from barbies to online games and eventually content on the internet, it was practically fate that lead me to this space. Creating content has been fun for me since I learned how to edit and the forefront including my biggest hobby, fashion, was what solidified the deal.
What’s your biggest achievement so far?
My biggest achievement is hard to choose one. I can say a general achievement that covers a couple of experiences; modeling and creating content with Jordan and Foot Locker are amongst my biggest achievements.

What’s your next targeted milestone?
My next targeted milestone is to reach 1 million followers across all platforms; really just expanding my influence even more in the fashion and lifestyle content space. This way I can have more impact in the industry and have further opportunities to dip my foot into other areas of fashion outside of content creating.
How do you seek to influence the fashion industry?
I seek to become a household name in this industry, not just for the fact I create content, model and style; I want to be an example for black women and Christ believers. My wish is that as I rise in this space and achieve my creative dreams, I inspire these groups especially so they know they can do what I am doing despite being a minority in this industry. In other words, I aspire to be the face for the minority in the fashion industry and help expand our involvement/impact.

Is your career a lifestyle for you or a separate entity?
Creating content is definitely more of a lifestyle for me.
How would you describe yourself in respect of your persona?
Here are some words I would use. These collectively embody an energy I would describe myself as: Creative, fluid, witty, odd, iconic, consistent and beautiful.
What brand(s) or organisation (s) do you dream of collaborating with?
In the NEAR future, I dream of collaborating with brands like Maison Margiela, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Yume Yume, Balenciaga, and the list really could go on. I have big dreams, the sky truly is my limit. I dream to be at the state where I could collaborate with any brand I like.

Do you see yourself doing something different in the near future?
Yes! I do see myself fulfilling my childhood fashion dreams of designing/making my own clothes.
What else do you enjoy doing?
I enjoy playing songs I can hum on the saxophone. I also enjoy reading realistic fiction novels or novels with crazy plot twists. I enjoy playing dress up with friends and myself.
Would you say you are socially interactive?
Yes! When I am in the mood to be social, I can be very interactive with others.
What is your message to the world?
Put your faith in God and allow him to lead you through your dreams. You can never fail with him. And live your life for YOU.
